Unfreez makes code-first websites editable without a CMS for your clients. Connect a repo, pick what's editable, and let your client edit on a live preview. Every change ships as a clean, reversible commit. No refactoring, no AI touching your code.

Gepetto
Hey folks 👋
Something changed in how we build client websites. Five years ago, a bakery website meant Wordpress, Webflow, Wix, Framer... Today? We prompt it. Claude code, Codex, v0, Lovable — a beautiful, fast, hand-tuned site in an hour or less as plain code in a repo, hosted for free on Vercel, Netlify, Github Pages etc. The old builders are quietly losing the sites they were invented for.
But vibe coding brought back the problem CMSs were born to solve: the site is code again, and the client can't touch it. They want to change a price, a photo, an opening hour, and their options are texting you forever, or migrating to the very builder you just escaped or refactor your code to integrate a headless CMS.
Unfreez is the missing layer: it sits on top of the repo (GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket) and finds the texts, images, lists and SEO tags in your code — Next.js, Astro, Vue/Nuxt, React or plain HTML. You choose what's editable, name each field in your client's words, and invite them. They click on a live preview, edit, hit Publish.
And here's the twist: your site may be AI-written, but your edits are never AI-guessed. Three rules I refuse to break:
- No AI in the write path. Every edit lands at the exact spot it belongs.
- Everything is a commit. Atomic, signed, reversible in one click.
- Your repo stays the source of truth : leave anytime, nothing is locked in.
It's free for 14 days per site (no card), then €90/year per site.
I'd genuinely love your take, especially the messy repos: tell me what Unfreez couldn't detect on your vibe-coded site and I'll dig in.
