Uplo introduces a timeline‑based delivery and approval workflow built specifically for freelancers and studios. Instead of sending clients multiple links, files, and messages across email, cloud storage, and chat apps, Uplo gives clients a single clean timeline where every update, preview, and final file is organised automatically. Clients can view the timeline and files without needing an Uplo account. Final deliveries are released automatically after invoices are paid.
I created uplo because of multiple reasons, I believe delivering work to clients shouldn't feel overwhelming, it should be simple, safe and not cost an arm and a leg. Freelancers often send files through email, cloud storage apps and use other apps to chat and create invoices. This allowed clients to lose track of updates, forget which version is final or ask for revisions on outdated files. I wanted a cleaner and more predictable way to deliver work.
The goal was to create a simple timeline-based delivery system where every update is organised automatically, allowing clients to preview work instantly but also protecting the freelancers work along the way. This is why Uplo will watermark images, videos and PDF files automatically when a file is added to the timeline. On final delivery the file is released automatically after the invoice is paid.
During development, the approach evolved from "just a file uploader" into a thought out delivery system. I realised freelancers didn't just need storage, they needed the ability to protect their work, ask for approval on updates and also include a way to bill their clients without losing huge percentage on each job. This insight shaped the timeline, watermarked previews, approval system, messaging system, seen tracking as a complete workflow and that's what defines Uplo today.
