Type what you need, like "a cleaning quote calculator" or "a table booking form", and Widgeteer builds a working widget. Edit it by hand or by asking. Submissions go to email, Zapier, n8n or a webhook. Works on WordPress, Shopify and any website.

Hi Product Hunt π
Most small sites need one or two little things: a quote calculator, a booking form, an FAQ. The usual options are a plugin per widget, a form builder that eats an afternoon, or paying someone.
Widgeteer lets you describe it instead. Something like "a house cleaning quote calculator with bedrooms, bathrooms and extras". You get a working widget, not a mockup. Then change it by asking ("add a phone field") or edit it by hand.
A few things we cared about:
β’ Forms always work. The AI writes the look, the submit logic is fixed code.
β’ Submissions go to email, Zapier, n8n, Make, Airtable, Telegram or a webhook.
β’ Native WordPress plugin and Shopify app, plus an embed code for any site.
β’ No charge per page view.
You can play with the live editor on any widget at widgeteer.ai/widgets without signing up.
What widget would you build first? And where does it fall short? Honest feedback welcome.
The design choice I like here is the split: AI writes the look, the submit logic is fixed code. A form that looks right but silently drops submissions is worse than no form at all, so keeping the part that has to work deterministic makes sense. When you edit a live widget β say changing fields on a quote calculator β does that edit ever touch validation or where submissions route to, or is that layer locked no matter what changes on the surface?
played with the cleaning quote widget without signing up. switched it to euro, weekly plus two extras came to 114 with 17.10 off, the maths holds. the ai edit wants you to copy the widget first, letting one ask through before that would sell it.
@theicreatorΒ thanks for the feedback. AI edit without an account would be a massive undertaking, but it can be looked at.
