Poolside FM was founded by serial entrepreneur Marty Bell in 2014 when he had the idea of making a music player for the fun synth-forward pop music he was listening to.
Working together with several other friends, the passion project unexpectedly went viral and was embraced by many fans, leading the creators to continue working on Poolside FM intermittently over the years, eventually building it into an app for iOS.
