Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm really excited to share Modyfi with you, a web-based collaborative image maker we've been working on for the past year and a half.
As a designer, Modyfi is a delightful tool to create in. It comes with plenty of tools to play with, from simple vectors and layers, to next gen AI features and incredibly satisfying effects (which we call "Modifiers"). It's also very...

Hey Product Hunt 👋
Over the holidays I participated on a 1 week hackathon with @leonor_furtado and built EcoSnap. It was really fun (and intense), and thanks to our different skillsets (Leo as a data scientist, and me as a developer and designer) we were able to win on the Best of Open Source category, and third place overall 🏆
EcoSnap is an app that helps you recycle your plastic better. You...

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I've had this project hidden away somewhere in my computer for a couple of years now, so I decided I might as well try to polish it up a bit and share it with the world. It's a motion graphics editor like After Effects, but modeled after tools like Canva or Kapwing, with an asset browser that you can use to search for images, videos, and more to add into your project.
The...

I'm Alyssa X, I've built and shipped 10+ products. AMA.
Hey Product Hunt! I'm a designer, full-stack developer, and entrepreneur who loves making and launching all sorts of products. Over the past few years I've built a real-time collaborative map tool, one of the most popular flowcharting libraries on GitHub, a screen recorder with over 90K users, a web-based collaborative audio editor, a Mac app that hides your apps for later and much, much...

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I don't know about you, but I use Notion a lot. I tend to use it for my product planning, listing out ideas, tasks, and more. So I thought I could build something to help me be more productive with it. My first thought was to create a simple /draw command, only to realize that Notion didn't have any sort of API or plugin ecosystem to create custom commands to begin with.
So...

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm sure you've all had this problem before. You want to share your screen or make a recording, and all your apps are in the way. So you have to close them all, and when you're finished, open them back one by one. Or maybe you've been working for ages, and want to take a break and get your mind off work, but you don't want to have to clear and restore your workspace manually...

Personally what I do is create a short video (~10 seconds) that showcases the main features of the product, sometimes even as a GIF. No audio or text whatsoever, straight to the action. Here's a few examples:
- Omni, where I just compiled a few small clips of the product performing certain actions, or searching in the omnisearch.
- Carden, where I literally just recorded myself using the...

I just recently did a launch, but as usual I already have something else lined up!
For a change I decided to work on a Mac menu bar app, even though I haven't done it before. Learning about Swift now, and hopefully it will be ready in a few weeks :) The product itself is something I personally have a need for, especially useful for traveling (which I do a lot of) and conserving battery. Not...

Badges are fun! Let me think of some ideas...
- Hitting a milestone (e.g. hitting 1000 upvotes / comments / followers)
- Upvoting a product that ends up becoming a Product of The Day
- General badges for the Golden Kitty Awards (winning, being a finalist, voting for a winning product...)
- Making the top product in a specific topic (e.g. Chrome Extensions, productivity...)
- Leaving a helpful...

Love it! The concept is simple but it's still a great product. Many times I've wanted to share a link to a website I don't own (e.g. for some article, event...) but the preview for the link didn't look any good. Super easy to solve the problem with relink.page, plus with full freedom to customize the image and text.
