ISO27001 and other security certifications for startups?
Hi there! Would love any advice from those who have experienced acquiring security certifications as an early-stage startup.
- What certification(s) did you go for?
- How long did it take to apply?
- What was your experience of it?
- How much workload is it to maintain?

Amazing! This looks like it would be brilliant for customer support and answering repetitive questions. Can you feed it custom knowledge from a knowledge base?

Awesome to hear! I'd love to get some advice on searching for people in relevant areas on Twitter. At Uppr we're building a sales enablement tool, and we've only done a tiny amount on Twitter.
Is Twitter the kind of place we'd be able to reach sales professionals? And what would you search for / what would you look for? I'd love to have a chat if you can share some advice!

I think it's appropriate to hire someone to help when the tasks you need assistance with are outside your skill set, are time-consuming, or require specialized expertise that you don't have!
If you have the financial means to hire someone, and the tasks are important to your personal or professional goals, it can be a great investment! You'll need to weigh the cost of hiring someone against...

We chose a slightly saturated pink/red.
I'll be honest, we didn't spend a lot of time considering it! We just kinda liked the color and built a bit of a color scheme around it.
Consistent branding was the most important thing for us right now. We'll be looking to upgrade our brand image a bit in the near future though! I'd love any feedback for improvements in the near term.
What is your brand color and why?

Awesome! Love the concept.
Our startup is Uppr - the real time knowledge assistant for sales pros.
We use speech-to-text tech to pick up on keywords used in sales calls, and then trigger relevant product knowledge/best practices to pop up in front of the sales rep in real-time!
We've just finished our MVP and are just starting to produce content on socials + onboard our early users π

It's super difficult to know 100%. There isn't a universal answer. Generally, advice from Google is that as long as you are writing useful content that is clearly linked to your focus topic, and are regularly updating your website and getting traffic, you'll eventually start climbing.
You can use tools like https://seorch.eu/ to give you some actionable guidance for some specific mechanisms...

It's inevitable the craze will fade as it becomes normalized and similar products come out (like Google's Bard). But I'm pretty confident the value-add of the tech is here to stay! I've been using ChatGPT and GPT3 since they came out, and am still using it today to help guide me with helpful content writing.
Do you think the craze of ChatGPT will fade away in a few months?

Awesome! Over what period did you send your initial outreach over LinkedIn? I've been experimenting with it a lil lately, but don't want to get my profile flagged for spam! I read that it's one risk of this method (but it could also just be tales from low-quality untargeted mass outreach campaigns).
Thanks for sharing!!

From the research we did, paid LinkedIn marketing is only valuable if you can afford to do highly targeted remarketing. Ie, being certain you can target the same person many times with the same ad. Remarketing has a significantly high ROI if you can pull it off. But users often need to see the same advertisement 5+ times (often more) before they will trust it.
... Of course it depends on what...

Finding a tech co-founder is really hard right now.
I know a few people who found them via accelerator programs. Some are skeptical of this kind of program, but they are good at getting a lot of people who want to build a startup in the same room.
Our tech co-founder was a long-time friend of mine. I sent him a message asking for advice on how to build something, and instead of advice he just...

Where do you go to get those early users for feedback on a new idea you're launching?
Other than talking about it on ProductHunt of course! Where do you go? Or if you don't - why don't you?
