Community Poll: Should We Keep Animated GIF Avatars in Our Platform?
Hello dear community,
we are working on a feature for our Affiliate Marketing SaaS platform that allows users to set avatars for their accounts. This could be useful, for example, when other team members or partners need to recognize someone in the user interface quickly. In our current implementation, weβve also made it possible to use (animated) .gif files as avatars.
What do you think about...

I am currently in the same situation as you and also new to PH. But our launch is still a few months away. I thought I'd start early. :)
I wish you every success and look forward to hearing how it went for you.
Day 5 on PH, my SaaS is ready to be pre-launched! Im excited!

I really like the idea, but unfortunately, I can't try it out myself yet.
Perhaps you could give users the option of setting markers within chapters that trigger a scene change. These could be kept global. Perhaps also allow user-generated scenes that are placed by voting? What are your long-term ideas?

Good luck Phillip and all the best! πIβll definitely give the app a try. If youβre willing to share your experience afterward, I'd love to hear about it.
Have you taken any hypercare measures?
We finally launched TODAY! ππ Feeling nervous π

Looking back, I've realized that sometimes ignorance can be bliss. If I had known from the start the amount of effort certain things would require, I might have been intimidated, overanalyzed everything, and never even gotten started.

Former (UX) designer here, who taught myself how to code. Ask me anything!
Professionally, I used to work as a UX designer. However, I've always had an interest in developing and marketing my own product. Several years ago, I started delving into topics like front-end, back-end development, and DevOps alongside my co-founder (also a designer). Currently, we're developing our SaaS platform for the affiliate marketing sector. I'm happy to share my experience with you,...
