Best AI tools to create product promo/teaser videos?
I usually make promo vids of an app interface with https://rotato.app, where you record the screen and rotate it with effects (here's on eof my examples: https://youtu.be/emGfRv1lX9Q?si=-ceYVyXVfmtdU8Nb)
It can take a couple hours though - after rotato, I switch to screenflow to add text and music. I wondered if there's any new AI tools that can create promo vids like this. Otherwise I could...
Go back to the oldest of old twitter logos (2005, 2006 ,etc), or explore new variations!
When Elon changed the Twitter logo to an X, lots of people designed their own versions, or wanted to go back to the old one. This plugin lets you switch between many logos

Hey PH, I made this one last week, my first Chrome plugin! It took until a couple days ago to get approved so it's a late one for the topic, but hope it's still fun!
The plugin gives you all the old twitter logos to choose from, including the green slime one, as well as some logos made by designers in the community like Michal (https://twitter.com/michalmalewicz) and Hiroon...

Launching as a bootstrapped and/or solo maker?
I always loved watching the solo and bootstrapped makers launching here on PH.
From back when I started here, that was the part of the community I loved most..but we are always competing with funded projects and huge teams here. So it's not always been a level playing field, as the venture backed products have teams and networks to pump their launches! Sometimes that becomes a bit spammy...

I'm learning Spanish for a while, and try to use different methods other than duolingo (my duolingo streak is flying!).
Recently I started seeing more and more Reels and TikToks flying into my algorithms - my instagram is mostly language and football..which is better than the algo feeding bikinis and naked men I suppose!
Anyway, I just wanted a place dedicated to those language shorts and...

I feel like somehow brings together all the product updates from the wild web, and makes an informative network with social aspects - do you see it as a social network?
I am using twitter less, but did you look into into import/export from twitter since there's a lot of product-related updates there
Look forward to using the platform more and see...

I find making a vid showing the outcomes and changes in the UI is good compared to those business aspects. Initially i just share to build momentum in sharing work again. Somehow lost that over the years because i got jaded

Any makers sharing their journey on YouTube?
Hey all, I've been a maker for years, and realised it's been since 2018 that was my last full-time job! Is anyone in the same boat?
I've found myself getting a bit bored when working on my own, so I decided to start YouTubing to mix things up and actually speak. I'm starting out just scrappily using Loom, talking about the stuff I've worked on each day.
If you have a Youtube channel, add it...
