I use Pasta to manage my Clipboard and Proxyman whenever I am working with HTTP requests. Both serve a good purpose, improve productivity and solve a niche problem. Both made by Indie developers.
After macOS Big Sur is out, I can add my tool for iOS developers, Swimbols, to the list.
Which little-known Mac utilities do you believe are great and deserve more recognition?

Luck does play a role but you can't quantify it, because it is just random. But you have you have plan and work on improving the product before and after luck plays its role. Otherwise you will be shutting down soon.
How much does "LUCK" play into your start-up success?

I can tell from personal experience what went wrong for us.
Our product idea was good but our execution was bad. We didn't hire the right people and we delayed the product so much that eventually before we completed a few players got established in the space. Without much marketing behind us, we decided to quit that product. One year of work gone to waste.
Then we built an app for iOS and...

Yes. Even though Product Hunt's aim is to help users find the best new product, big companies which could potentially make the best product, already have their marketing team to reach millions of users. And surely the tech savy users, who are on this platform.
So it will be great if Product Hunt provides more importance to indies and small startups.
Well, this is just my opinion and it could...

You can offer the choice at the click of the button. It has been the standard practice for many apps when introducing a brand new design.
I would prefer that button to be visible all the time, not be hidden under some settings. So users can try both and decide what they like.
Then you can analyze which interface do most users prefer and drop support for the other one if you can't maintain...

What is the best drag and drop HTML/CSS builder which generates code?
I want a to export code and related assets as a zip from the tool, not host it somewhere directly.
I know a little bit of HTML and CSS but not enough to build something from scratch. I would like to design a website online and then get the zip with all files which I can host where ever I want. Also edit it a little as my needs change, which I feel will be easy to maintain in the long run.

Think of the value your product adds to the user's life. Then evaluate what type of users will be willing to pay for such a product. Then think about the amount they will be willing to pay.
When you are not sure of the price, see how much your competition is charging. If you think your product is good, price it higher than the competition and let people know why your product is better.

I use Clockify for time tracking. I use it only for tracking time spent on tasks that are either important or urgent.
At the end of a week, if I have clocked more than 40 hours, I consider it a productive week.
How do you measure your productivity?

I would love to work for a startup. All my jobs have been for established companies and would like to know how it feels to grow together with a startup.
Saying that, working for established companies doesn't mean that it will not be challenging. I feel like risk vs reward might be less, but it can also be challenging based on the team/project you are working.
If you are in a small team...
Would you rather work for a startup or an already well-established company? Challenge or comfort?
