Bootstrapped, always. Most successful startups mostly start with bootstrap until they reach a point where they need more funds to do bigger stuff.
Eg: Meta(FB), Dell, Apple, Coca Cola, Cisco, eBay and so on.
Bootstrapped vs funding? Which one and Why?

For anything work-related, I choose Slack. Discord is nice too, but it's not built for work. More for the community.
Slack or Discord?

I've used Edge, Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Safari recently. I'm sticking with MS Edge mainly because I have Surface devices, which synchronise across all my devices. Uses less battery and resources than all other browsers.
What browser do you use and why?

Microsoft To-do to keep things organized and simple.
I used to use Forest App that you mentioned. But it didn't work for me because I need to use "YouTube, Google, etc" sometimes. It's a bit inconvenient to whitelist sometime.
I ended up using Pomodoro Technique App.

It depends on the company's industry, policies and scope of work. Many of us no longer have to commute, which gives us more time to sleep and rest. We don't have to be stuck in traffic, so we have more energy to put into work instead of being stuck in traffic.
There are many benefits to working remotely or from home. I have several articles about these. I hope this helps.
