Same with excel and Powerpoint! Google's version are kind of a "replacement" but are basically the same product on the cloud
Do you have that one "legacy product" that refuses to get replaced?

Why do you take call notes or recordings?
Like in the case of quantitative data, call recordings + notes themselves have limited value (usually as a record of what happened).
Typically we use them for something else, like:
(1) Aligning stakeholders
(2) Tracking progress
(3) Surfacing insights + analyzing them
(4) Sharing findings with teammates
Curious to know - why and how do you save call data (recordings, transcripts, written...

I really like the Superhuman way of measuring PMF - it's very data-centric: https://firstround.com/review/how-superhuman-built-an-engine-to-find-product-market-fit/
What is your method of measuring Product/Market fit?

For all those who need to vent or are looking for help: What was the hardest part of your week?
For me, it was dealing with uncertainty at work - we're switching directions on our product and sometimes dealing with the uncertainty can be challenging.

I'm not sure if it fits all your needs, but Pocket is an interesting solution. A simpler alternative is Toby.

What's a good way to track notes when you're running lots of customer discovery calls?
I've found it challenging to keep track of insights from calls as my n of customers increases!
I currently use excel to track major insights, but I have to manually add them to the spreadsheet after every call.
Any tips / hacks / tools that can help?

There are some websites that offer to find you folks for user testing, but in general reaching out to people directly can be very useful - LinkedIn is a powerful tool for this
Where do you share ideas and get feedback?

Otherwise, for notes I mostly use Google Docs / excel spreadsheets sometimes for categorized notes :)
Do you use notetaking apps? Which one would you suggest and why? 🙏🏼

The biggest issue I've seen with outbound lead generation is estimating intent - reaching out to people when they're interested to maximize impact. If there are ways to improve on this, that would be interesting to read about!

I feel like product thinking can be the most challenging part - being able to process and visualize what's possible or not.
The other part is that a lot of nocode tools have weird restrictions on what you can build (they give you a framework to stick inside).
#NoCode makers, what's the most annoying thing about hacking products together?
