See my reply to @markk0217 below, my initial launch wasn't a crazy failure - though I've had many as an entrepreneur over the years - but we didn't hit on 'it' when we launched. So we assembled our thoughts, went back to the drawing board, and got back to work. 18 months later, we're looking to relaunch.
My advice when you work your butt off and think you landed hard?
Be. Stubborn. When you...

Generally price around your competitors and eventually you will land in a sweet spot. When considering high vs. low, lean towards a higher price initially as you can always add discount codes and incentives down the funnel - demos, newsletters etc. - as it's hard to raise prices once the floor's been set....

2023 Wrap up: Top Lesson Learned Was...
As we head into 2024, we build on what we've learned and try our best to carry those lessons forward.
For me, it was all about perserverance. Having a clear goal, putting my head down and focusing on something actionable I can do 'today', not peeking at the result, just the process.
The result? I built out our brand new headquarters from the ground up, started and completed v2 of our app,...

Balance in life has always been super important to me, and it's a note that young founders and innovators should pay more attention to. I push, at a reasonable rate (see my recent discussion about working fast vs. slow and steady), and always decompress and disconnect. For me it's tennis, working out, sauna, plunge, keeping a nice wellness routine. For others, it will be something else, but...

Go fast and break things, or move slow and steady?
So many sides to this debate, curious where people here land.
Personally, I prefer slow and steady. Better perspective, allows you to be more thoughtful about each step, and mistakes are generally not compounded. But when I was younger it was more full-throttle, iterate and fix as fast as possible, so my approach now might be a maturity thing that we all evolve into more or less.
What do...

This is a great question! When we were designing our software, we initially planned to push off dark mode until after we launched. But once we started exploring it, we saw the benefits immediately: it offers a completely new experience in the same app. So you can cast a wider net with users. Some love darker modes, some lighter modes, and each has a unique personality. I happen to LOVE our dark...
Why do people nowadays prefer 'dark mode' ?

Usually there isn't just 'one', it's a mixed basket. Each channel nudges prospects differently in their journey, and it really depends on what you're selling. Even when you crush on a campaign, I'm always wary to rely on just one monster driver, because winds change.
Example: we used to spend millions/year with Google ads, this is back some years now, and it was our main lead driver. In a...

Congrats that's awesome, looks like a solid site and product. I have been practicing balance in business for over 20 years, glad to see a new generation is finally realizing that going full throttle is never the answer to a fulfilled life, go slow and intentionally and enjoy the walk....(with the occasional sprint lol).

Hi Bren, this is a great and complicated question. Typically, I've found all my success partnering with people who compliment my skillset and personality. And most of the time, I don't find that within my circle of friends, it's always a professional link. There's just something nice about having this padding between work and personal life, there's no baggage, you can just hit the idea running...
Founding with friends, yay or nay? 🤔
