AI testing… too good to be true?
Testing’s so important to ensure quality releases. Manually testing or using traditional automation frameworks takes wayyyyy too long, leading to a tradeoff between velocity and quality.
That’s why we’ve built Momentic—we’re live on Product Hunt on 12/10!
Momentic’s an AI testing platform. You can build powerful, self-healing tests using plain English! Save time testing while expanding...

Yeah, really cool product. Definitely where I think the future of most simple dev / app building is going
Also, I'm not sure if the launch video is super fast, or I'm just a rly slow reader lol

Transitioning to sales/GTM
I've found that the transition to a sales and GTM focus is primarily difficult due to the indeterministic nature of these motions. Also, the longer feedback loop drags out iteration, increasing the importance for quality data collection and management as well as A/B testing.
You can't sit at your desk all night to finally "solve" GTM problems like you can for a lot of specific eng tasks!...

Really curious to see where AI takes the future of work. Automating tons of processes will leave people out of jobs. AI boom will also create many new opportunities. Wondering what the steady state will look like once developments plateau again. Will there be more or less jobs? Will the culture of work look anything like it does td? Where are we moving towards in regards to wealth and resource...

Think @alex_prompt @sachindas246 @bobr_rivs all make great points. Testing is generally "easier" but also mainly different. ofc you check happy paths and intended workflows, but you almost have to forget everything you know abt the dev process of the software once you're testing it in order to get in a true "user mindset"

Our thoughts abt QA at Momentic are that testing is critical. Tests needs to be robust and reliable. We also promote eng-owned test ownership for many reasons - code quality, dev efficiency, and DevEx are just a few aspects that benefit, according to the DORA team (https://dora.dev/capabilities/te...)
We DON'T think that tests should take so much time to write and maintain, though. That's why...

I mean testing sucks... is it worth it to keep having devs do all the testing? Thoughts on outsourcing QA? Hiring in-house QA testers?
