Hi Everybody & thanks Kevin for the hunt!
The last time I went to a trade show was about 18 months ago. It was also the last time I used a paper business card and realized we are wasting valuable time and resources. So far, nobody has come up with a great solution to a simple problem: how to exchange contact details, and at the same time, make sure we stay in touch. Sure, apps have been...

Don't make this too complicated.
Someone once asked me how he should price a notification system. I asked him, what's the problem you're solving? Turns out, this notification system prevents downtime for a rig generating $10k/day in profits ... if down, the customer is losing $10k per day and this was currently happening twice per month, costing $20k per month.
Sold for $5k per month, even...

Don't expect miracles, build momentum slowly, and see this as the beginning of a great, long, and developing story that will gain traction over time.
Any advice you could give to someone starting out with developing their product?

Totally agree with @bilal_chaglani here.
Adding to this, keep thinking about the problem you're solving. That's your best source of motivation. Somebody once said to me: "Fall in love with the problem, not necessarily the solution you see now".
How do you get motivated or stay motivated when project takes too long to pickup some tranctions

- We had 15 users in our first 30 days
- Most of them were friends and family
- All of them provided direct feedback
15 months later our product has been used over 200,000 times in 150+ countries by 4,500+ companies. The feedback of these first 15 users was valuable, even though you have to balance it somewhat. My friends and family do not hold back :) now, we regularly...

Ah, yes. Never enough time, money and developers!
Since that's just simply always the case, the trick is to prioritize. Do the right things first, it's as simple as it is hard.
What's your biggest problem? And then fix that first. And feel good about it too. You'll never be able to tackle everything at once.

For me it's all about "strategic fit".
Marketing the right product, to the right people, using the right channel.
Find the key to this and success is on the way. Experiment, try, improve, tweak and try again. Ask your customers, discuss with the team, ask a friend! All great ways to figure out what your formula needs to be. Once you have one of these funnels working, on to the next!

Decide on what should be a call and what you can do on Slack.
A one-on-one with a team-member needs to be a call, just like a pitch to a potential new client. As long as you have an agenda for the call, it will be a good investment.
Slack works great for chit-chat and quick questions. Sometimes we decide to "takte this off-line" and out of a meeting, and sometimes I jump into a heated Slack...

Last three years I launched at least 4 ideas. You get super handy with putting together the website, landing page, MVP, etc. So every time you start, it takes less time.
For me it's a great way to try new things as a hoppy. But early 2020, I transitioned to full-time working on https://mobilocard.com 5 months after launch. There was an inflection point where I saw that if I would put 100% of...

To me there are two types of knowledge bases:
- Internal
- External
For onboarding new team members, keeping track of processes, etc. I love to use https://notion.so
For external (customer-facing), we're currently building something on Webflow within their CMS system. It looks good and practically anybody can contribute.

Interesting question and the answer will probably depend a lot on what you do during the day. Personally, I won't go one day without our CRM (@pipedrive) simply because every day you know what to do, and it helps you focus on what to do next. Never lose out on another opportunity!

You might want to consider one more thing, I would say user stats are even more important. People can pay for it, but if they don't get any value from it, the customer will be a leaving you at some point.
What is more important to you for your product ?
