7 Days of Building In Public on Twitter - Observations

I began #buildinginpublic on Twitter on March 1, 2024. I'm building a very simple app that lets anyone launch their waitlist. The positioning is as follows: "Launch your MVP with 100% confidence: Waitlist Guru is the easiest way to build waitlist. Your first 100 users are free". I am learning, and began by creating some informative and a few funny posts. The actual product has not been announced yet; because some basic functionality is pending. Should be done in the next 24 hours. Summary of observations: 1. Added 20 followers who are building in public. Some have over 10K followers. I went from 1030 -> 1051 followers. 2. People seem to be supportive in general. Received a few DMs appreciating and offering to help. 3. It's a very thrilling journey. Your success is public and so is your failure. 4. Lot of good advice from fellow builders. 5. Few posts get 0 engagement; but that's normal. Learning: You have to be very open and share your wins and failures. That seems to be the right way. PS: I'm @thebigk on twitter. You may follow me as I document everything.
