If you're new here, I'm André, a tech entrepreneur and founder of LaunchFast, a stack that helps web developers build in a weekend what it would take them 2 months. I post daily updates on my progress from 0€ to 10k€ by the end of 2024. ------------------ Alright, here’s what got done yesterday: 1. Improved the Product Hunt teaser page 2. Tried improving upon Zaid’s logo 3. Went through 2 developer test-drives 4. Piggybacked viral threads ## Improved the Product Hunt teaser page I’ve realized one could add highlights to testimonials on senja.io, so I did that and updated the Product Hunt teaser page to show off those highlights. I’ve also shared this tip on 𝕏 and tagged @SenjaHQ, and they reposted my thread ♥️ ## Tried improving upon Zaid’s logo Zaid's built a better logo for LaunchFast. I tried improving upon it and failed 😅 Lesson: stop trying to do something I don't know how to, and look for people who can teach me, so I can improve. I’ll try to find a designer doing public feedback rounds so I can improve upon the logo and learn more about design in the process. Zaid also shared a nice explanation with me. That went a long way for me to understand how to build a logo and his thought process behind it. If you know such a designer please hit me up 🤙 ## Went through 2 developers test-drives I’m 2/9 test-drives in and I already have a list of 17 actionable items to work on 🔥 ## Piggybacked viral threads Here’s what’s needed for ad revenue share on 𝕏: - Subscribe to premium ✅ - 500 followers - 5M impressions I have 400 followers at the moment, which I appreciate very much ♥️ Given the way my subscriber count is going, I think I'll teach 500 relatively fast. Impressions are the big boss. So, while my girlfriend was watching Taylor Swift’s live concert on her iPad, I was leisurely first-principling impressions. One idea I came up with was to piggyback off of viral threads. For this to work I had to be able to find viral threads and make a witty comment early on, to get almost as many impressions as the original post. So I found something interesting: you can use 𝕏’s search function to filter for the number of likes by using "min_faves:" and then go to the "Latest" tab. This helps you find recent threads with a high number of likes, i.e. viral threads. ## Next steps Plan for today: 1. Review the remaining 7 developer test-drives and keep increasing the list of improvements to LaunchFast 2. Implement those improvements 3. Record a video of me show LaunchFast That’s it for today folks, have a great rest of your week ♥️
