Think about it this way: The best way of catching up with my college friends is through Minecraft or Overwatch (atleast for me). Similarly, remote social interactions in 3D environments (beyond just games) can be much more interactive and engaging. In the end, it's the experience that makes all the difference

XR>3D>video>image>text. That's ingrained in the human nature for sure. It just boils down on the amount of trained dataset and how many NVDIA cards we've got.

It can help us connect across distances and be a supplement to our emotional needs, but I think it cannot fully substitute for real-life interactions.

AI-driven 3D social interactions can potentially fulfill some emotional needs by providing immersive and interactive experiences. However, they might fall short in replicating the depth of face-to-face connections and the subtleties of human emotions.

When it comes to AI-driven 3D social interactions meeting our emotional needs, it's like having a virtual therapist who also doubles as a comedian – they've got the data, but can they empathize?
