Could we move away from GPT prompt-like products?

OpenAI's ChatGPT is a fantastic tool, no doubt about it, however, I can't help but notice, every day, there's a new product that isn't really a product – just another GPT-powered prompt generator curated by some random person. Now, I want to be clear: I'm all for innovation and creativity. As a fellow lonely hustler, I genuinely appreciate the power of ChatGPT and what it brings to the table. But seeing these so-called "top products" pop up at least twice a week – just another ChatGPT-prompt-based offering – makes me wonder about the true value they add to the community. Here's my point: prompts are not products. They're more like simplistic tutorials that don't really teach users how to make the most of these powerful AI tools. So, while I embrace the potential of GPT-based solutions, I believe we need more genuine innovation and less over-saturation of the same type of "product" on Product Hunt. What do you think ?

Most of them don't solve anything, they're pretty much like toys, fun to play with for a while, but not really anything that shows that they really tried to solve real problems. I admit that at least for me, it started to get pretty boring around seeing so many products that are the same thing with different UIs and slightly worse or better features. Real and useful products are hard to build, so people are just trying their luck at becoming more visible and maybe making some money as well with simplistic products around a subject everyone is crazy about at the moment.

I think that whatever product comes up to be "innovative" or with great functionalities solving a big problem (regardless if it was built with or pulls information from ChatGPT/openAI), should be highlighted. As AI right now is really pushing the limits of what can be achieved in no time, it makes sense that the top products are based around that. Just my opinion :)

@filippo_pietrantonio if there functionalities , features…. A REAL product … I don’t mind at all if is not innovative, we all work with some hipótesis and product hunt is perfect to test them. These prompt-like products doesn’t have this element.

I totally agree that I've been seeing too many products with repetitive concepts here. But there's a saying that says "Necessity is the mother of invention, copying is the father of progress". So I would interpret PH's oversaturation with cookie-cutter prompt products is a progress towards something innovative..! :)
