In my experience, PH is a wonderful place to build community. Forged by its friendly and fun-loving members, it’s easy to see how PH has become a great place for content creators and users alike to come together. Now, that’s not to say that there aren’t other venues out there for doing so, but if you’re looking for a solid start to building and growing your community, then look no further. There’s really no place like PH.

I would say – do not be only on one platform because you do not own that platform. PH, LI, Twitter anything. It has helped me a lot to have community calls with those people so there is no gap between us – relational ties are stronger. 🙂

@solyou thanks! I try to create my own "content" on PH but that might be helpful for folks who have English as a second language or struggle with things grammatically to be certain they're engaging and feeling like part of the community.

@stephane_jauffret the community isn't like what it was back when i started in 2014. There's less depth in conversations and it's more about creating content that directs to an upcoming launch .

@stephane_jauffret @jaketital I can see that - platform matures and people would much rather have POTD than engage and support others even after their launch has concluded.

I see huge dropoff engagement for folks doing "one and done" launches.

I think it’s great to start building a community on PH, but if you really want to engage with your members and keep them active, it’s better to transfer it to a dedicated platform like Discord or Slack. For those platforms to be effective, you do need to be active yourself, but it’s easier for the community to interact with each other and contribute.
