I usually prepare some special posts/discounts only on the major holidays. I think the most important ones for business are Black Friday and Christmas. Actually this year we are planning to donate to an animal shelter for Christmas as a company to try and inspire other to do something nice during the holidays!

@david_patrykowski David, that is so a noble decision. How do you pick the right civic organisation or non-profits?
@busmark_w_nika Thank you Nika! Actually some members of my team are already involved with local animal shelters and they are going to help me distribute the donation!

@david_patrykowski Nice! That is amazing. I also did something similar a few years back for local dog shelters :)

Wow! That's a lot of holidays. Thanks for sharingβI didnβt know about some of these. Iβm from India, so I look forward to Navratri and Diwali, which are celebrated with a lot of excitement. Many people do product marketing during these festivals too. Apart from that, New Year and Christmas are also on my list! :)))

@priyanka27 Have heard about Diwali but not Navratri. Of course, according to regions, there are also other festive you can leverage as a marketer on the international level :)
Launching soon!
@busmark_w_nika Navratri is a nine-day Hindu festival celebrating the triumph of good over evil. It honors Goddess Durga and her nine forms. During this time, people fast, pray, dance (Garba and Dandiya), and celebrate with family and friends. Itβs all about joy, devotion, and positive energy!

thank you for introducing me this festive day :) @priyanka27
Thanks for the list! All these...and a little few more... as well π€
Welcome to India... the land of festivals π

@indu_thangamuthu I have heard that you have such grandiose weddings. :) That must be a great experience too! :)
minimalist phone: creating folders
@indu_thangamuthu I know. What is the average amount of guests for a typical Indian wedding?
@busmark_w_nika The range is wide... can go between... 300 - 1000+ (Excluding kids from new born - 15 years old, let's say)π
Our βmore intimateβ weddings might have 100β200 guests. We people share big love... π
minimalist phone: creating folders
@indu_thangamuthu Uff, that is enough. In our country, the big weddings have 50 guests :D I think that this quota is for India too low for doing any event :D
@busmark_w_nika π Just to clarifiy...
"India is expected to spend Rs 4.25 lakh crore on approximately 35 lakh weddings planned from November to mid-December, according to a PL Capital-Prabhudas Lilladher report."
Definitely can be overwhelming with so many options. I usually just focus on Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I strategize a few months in advance to give ample time for preparations.

@nathancovey That's the time when I usually buy laptops, smartphones etc :D
@busmark_w_nika You're smart for that!

@nathancovey Prepare Nathan :D we can resell it later :D
This is an amazing list, Nika! I was actually researching it the other day. It can be very useful.

@vaibhavdwivedi I am thinking about creating a mega directory of my compound knowledge and wanna monetise it. Should I?
@busmark_w_nika You definitely should but keep it niche. Reach out if you need help :)

Warmup Inbox
I'm using Black Friday for all my SaaS customers.
I also do a back-to-school campaign in September for some. That could be a good addition to your list.
St Valentin can be used sometimes but you need to be really creative with it.

@fabian_maume I totally forgot back to school β that is so good. Those productivity seasons are the best options (new year resolution, summer fit body, back to school etc.) Thank you for mentioning it. :)
I use holidays in marketing as an effective strategy to increase engagement and sales with relevant and emotional messages. I always plan special events around major holidays, businesses can use this moment to capture the attention of the audience and strengthen brand connections.
I was searching for these manually and was very hectic for me to check one by one. You said very well September is a month when all the stress becomes double and its not always go easy on me. I've to struggle more .
Anyway Thanks for the list Nika!
