I've been launching projects for years now and, depending on the target and my persona, I get a lot of positive feedback and visibility thanks to the press and appearances in various newspapers, TV channels, radio stations, etc... In France, I know it's complicated to get your project talked about in the media, especially if you don't know anyone and have no contacts, but I'd be delighted to hear about your project launches. Are you thinking of using the press for your communications campaigns? Is it easy for you to appear in the press? And how do you go about it if you're used to working with the media? I'd be delighted to hear from you... 🙈

I'm thinking about this now, as well as AI tools like press release generators - https://www.maiwriter.com/press-... which can help you quickly create quality reviews for this. This can be quite useful for new products

Sure do. Getting press coverage can really amplify a launch. It's all about having a compelling story and reaching out to the right journalists.

Media plays a vital role in our product launches, with press releases, social media, influencers, and targeted advertising being key components.

@isabella_l33 All right, what's the budget for this kind of launch? And how do you find the actors you work with?
    Isabella Lee
@tberguer When it comes to this launch, I'd love to know more about the budgeting aspect. Can you share any information on the estimated budget? Also, I'm intrigued by your approach to finding and working with actors - how do you discover and choose the individuals you collaborate with?
    Tristan Berguer
@isabella_l33 Of course, I've been working with French-language media for over 10 years now, and as time goes by I get to know them, and when I send them press releases, they read more. In fact, I've created a number of services that enable anyone to send press releases to hundreds of French-speaking journalists (for the moment, only my personal contacts, but it's growing). In terms of budget, it's relatively low when you use platforms like www.presspilot.io, you need to count around $250 and all French-speaking countries hear about it... I hope the rest of the world will soon!

We utilize media channels like press, social media, influencers, and ads to launch our products
    Tristan Berguer
@charlotteg67 Okay, and regarding the press, what kind of media and how do you contact them?
    Charlotte Griffin
@tberguer When reaching out to the press, it's essential to understand your target demographic and choose media outlets that cater to their interests, which may include newspapers, TV stations, radio programs, online news platforms, or industry-specific magazines, and you can establish contact by utilizing email, phone calls, social media direct messages, or dedicated press inquiry forms on their websites.
    Tristan Berguer
@charlotteg67 Thank you for your precise answer, Charlotte. And do you work with a press agency for that or do you go through existing websites like presspilot.io?

    Tristan Berguer
@olive_sim42 Okay, thanks for your answer! How do you contact the media? By hand every time?
    Olivia Simmons
@tberguer No, contacting the media doesn't require hand-delivery; there are several convenient ways to reach out, including email, phone calls, online forms, social media, and even press release distribution services
    Tristan Berguer
@olive_sim42 So do you think a solution like www.presspilot.io might be interesting for you?

@mia_seicooper Do you work with a press agency?

I would go for it but focus on quality rather than quantity. Depending on the goal, I would concentrate on 1–3 media outlets that are dedicated to the target audience and align with the goals. For instance, if you are launching a product and aiming to create a buzz to attract attention from investors, consider approaching international media outlets like Forbes, TechCrunch, or Sifted. On the other hand, if you're looking to acquire clients in France, seek out journalists who cover topics similar to yours in tier 1 local media outlets (for example, in Poland, everyone is reading three main daily newspapers, and each of them has a section about technology). The goal is not to be everywhere but in the right place and time :)

@olga_official_verified oh thank you for this information Olga ! I really appreciate 😍

@olga_official_verified Thanks for your reply! I agree with you, which is why I launched www.presspilot.io!

@tberguer I love this, and I wish you a ton of good luck! :) In Poland, we have something similar called Prowly. They have quite good PR as well :)
