I use animations, very often, because I think animation can be helpful for user experience, if used carefully. 👀 For example to communicate feedback or state changes. But, if animations are overused, they can distract users.

UI animation is the practice of introducing a motion to UI components to improve the interaction of a product. I have worked with many UX and UI designers; they use animation to move users across the interface, warn users of a change, influence users' decisions, and demonstrate a link between objects.
UI animation is the process of adding motion to UI elements in order to enhance a product's interactivity. UX and UI designers use animation to guide them around the interface, alert users of a change, influence users' decisions, and indicate a relationship between elements—among other uses.
