How did you come up with your unique selling point for your product?

Lots of market research? Building something unique for yourself? Asking various people? For me, it was a combination of the first two.

We work on the uniqueness and usefulness of our product. I think this is the best way to find a market for your product. If the product is useful, it will easily retain users and attract new ones.

Through experience and research
I would say other than market research, user research is also important!
Start with friends & family you think might be your target users and have a short interview or survey with them.
One tool worked pretty well for me was by showing them some sketches that deliver your product concept and asking "How would you feel if you could no longer use this product?” From 1 (not disappointed at all) to 5( very disappointed)" so you get quantitative data and then ask them "Why" to get qualitative data.
You can iterate your product concept and ask the same question to see if the value increased each time as an experiment :)
@jandemiralp Based on my experience, I could get a decent amount of feedback and insight after showing the concept and asking a few usability questions to ensure they understood how the idea works.
The idea of this quick and dirty test is for you to get a rough idea of whether the value your product provides has any potential in the market.
Hope it helps!
