Hey PH community 👋🏽 almost everyone talks about getting the first 10 customers. But it's slightly easier if you ask me as we can into our existing network. What's comparably harder is getting that first 10-100 customers. So how did you acquire your first 10-100 customers? Would love to know.

Back in the day for Notifier, we got our first 100 customers by posting on Product Hunt, actually.
@timothybramlett , that's great! happy for you. btw, just curious - by PH, you mean via a PH launch?
Back to Wemate AI, we got our first by posting on reddit and by seo (blogs)

Cold outreach on Twitter worked for us! We searched for people tweeting about problems our product solved, reached out to them via DM offering a free trial, and converted a good chunk to paying customers. Posting on communities like Indie Hackers and Reddit (in relevant subreddits) also drove some of our earliest sign-ups. It's a grind but talking directly to potential users is the best way to get those first 100 IMO.

Ex-colleagues from previous companies, LinkedIn reachouts, Friends and peers, For India you can throw a mix of cold calls too. That way for initial stages the cash burn is minimal, effecting CPL and CAC in a +ve way.

Heavy amounts of cold emailing and leveraging my existing network. Additionally, leveraging references helped for exponential growth
