I personally think that to generate content ideas for social media, consider customer needs, industry trends, competitor content, user-generated content, and relevant news.
Conducting keyword research, using social media analytics, and engaging with your audience for inspiration is also really important.
What do you think about this?

I try to create loops where we're always attentive to the needs and reality of the user. What does the everyday life look like for the person we're creating value for? What are their frustrations, time-thiefs, things they procrastrinate etc.

I completely agree with this approach to generating content ideas for social media. At Logomakerr.ai, we've found that understanding our customers' needs, staying current with industry trends, and analyzing competitor content are all essential to creating relevant and engaging content. User-generated content helps us build a loyal community while staying informed about relevant news, and using keyword research ensures that our content is both timely and discoverable.
Social media analytics and audience engagement are vital for continuously refining our strategy. This comprehensive approach has been instrumental in our brand's success on social media.

Think about what value you're adding for your audience - emotional, educational etc. Create the content that you personally love seeing.
I will write down what I want to deliver to my audience in bullet points. And to see if there any hot topic I can put my idea in.
Just see what occurred in my mind.
If you're educating about something on SM. that's the key.
I would suggest that you first be Authentic, think out-of-the-box; Many a time a need is not directly found but can be inferred and showcased.

> Look out for trending things. If it's appropriate or might be appealing with the brand then progress with selecting a proper medium(Static post, reels, stories) to utilize.
> Prepare some weekly and monthly content theme. Go through behance, youtube shorts and dribble for inspiration.
To generate content ideas for social media, begin by thoroughly understanding your target audience, their interests, and needs. Analyze your competitors and monitor trending topics in your industry. Address common questions and provide valuable insights through educational content. Share user-generated content to foster authenticity and trust. Offer a glimpse behind the scenes to humanize your brand, and showcase customer stories and testimonials. Embrace seasonal and holiday themes, and leverage engaging visual content, such as images and videos, to keep your social media feed dynamic and appealing to your followers.
Usually how I do it:
1. Write down if you haven't already your audience, themes, etc.
2. Find similar accounts in the space which are doing very well (doesn't have to be company page - it could be a fan page or a community page for your niche/product)
3. Digest the posts, get inspired, really try and understand the content
4. Once you are good at the 3rd step -> collect the right inspo posts
5. Iterate, present in your way, create high-quality, original content
And most important step that will yield the results -> 6. Don't give u. If your intentions, motivation and work is true to you & your audience you will only get better!

Keeping my eyes open and delivering what I see as valuable. :)
Here's a practical example if you want to find scroll-stopping, viral & trendy content ideas:
1. Go Pinterest (free business account)
2. Under the analytics tab, find the “Trends”
3. Select “Growing Trends”
4. Add the keywords of your choice (e.g. "time-saving techniques")
5. Save pins for inspiration and create content later
For me, I come up content with https://answerthepublic.com/ and try to link it to my product
Depends on your goals - for capturing leads, look at their challenges and pain points (and help solve these :) For thought leadership - educate and entertain on the topics closest to your niche. For network expansion, aim for maximum virality, etc
You nailed it right! Try to do more experimenting too. Always check the analytics and see what works or not for your audiences.
