It's signal. Use it to improve the offering. The only hard part I can think of atm is sometimes being in denial. But we shouldn't deny someone's self-reported experience.

@vladimir_zivkovic probably applies broadly too... takes a lot of self-awareness to overcome self-deception... at least that's what GPT tells me

@dextersjab Yeah denial can be a problem for a lot of product guys...
Negative feedback is still a feedback, that is how I approach it. I try to adress users concern and offer a solution if there is any ๐Ÿ™‚

@sandradjajic It's similar to anu publicity is good publicity, so any feedback is a valuable feedback in it's own way.

If the person is not toxic and insulting, it sounds like a great opportunity to improve your product and potentially change their mind. Try and turn their negativity into constructiveness by asking questions.

@gael_de_mondragon Getting something useful out of it. Thanks!

Taking it on the chin and learning from it, really. It's hard but useful.

@jackkdavies26 Some say one bad feedback can be as valuable as 10 good ones.
Step 1: Take a deep breath. Step 2: Eat a cookie. Step 3: Respond kindly and genuinely apologizing. Step 4: Eat another cookie๐Ÿช๐Ÿ‘€

Straightforward - take it on the chin, stay cool and respectful. Learn from it, make necessary adjustments. No product is perfect from the get-go. It's the feedback loop that polishes it.

I usually take a step back, absorb it, then find a silver lining. Nobody likes hearing their baby's ugly, but every piece of feedback is a chance to improve. You gotta give 'em credit for being honest, even if it stings.

I accept and learn from it. Simple as like that. @vladimir_zivkovic
