I've used Appcues for tooltips and in-app onboarding flows. It integrates nicely and lets you target specific user segments. Highly recommend for improving engagement and reducing that initial learning curve!

Totally, in-app onboarding and messaging are crucial for engagement. I use Appcues as well - their segmenting and targeting is awesome for tailoring the UX. Userpilot and Userguiding are some other good options to check out for interactive walkthroughs, tooltips, etc. Really helps users get up to speed quickly and start engaging more.

I used "Intercom" for in-app messages triggered by specific actions. It also proved effective for soft onboarding. While I recognize that it may not be the best onboarding solution available, it worked perfectly for my previous product and helped guide thousands of users.
