How does one market a non-traditional site?

Recently launched an unconventional website: PunchToons.com - A fun way to release anger! It doesn't sell any products or services and nor is it a blog or a news site. It's simply a social experiment in trying to get a particular type of content viral by embedding some "typical" ingredients of viral content. The goal is to give website visitors a fun and light-hearted way to express and share their anger at global leaders whose actions and words lead to negative consequences and get an odd sense of satisfaction by doing so. I also just launched it on the new products launch page for this site: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/punchtoons Curious if folks have ideas on how best to get the word out. While traditional social media marketing strategies will help, I am finding that most are geared towards promoting traditional websites and hence looking for ideas and thoughts.
