At least 9999 real users with 3-4% active engagement/conversion.

I trust products that have 2500+ 'real' followers with good engagement

I feel like 2500 is probably a good minimum, but the engagement rate and quality of the followers matter too. If half the followers seem fake or the posts barely get any likes/comments, I wouldn't find the brand very credible even with 5k+ followers. I'd look for at least a few % engagement rate from real looking accounts.

I think the number of followers isn’t as crucial as engagement. Even with around 300 followers, a brand can look credible if they have active and genuine interactions. Quality over quantity always wins!

Follower count matters, but engagement is the real game-changer for credibility. Tools like Instagram followers apps (e.g.,Insta up GetInsta) can help businesses kickstart their follower base. However, they're most effective when paired with authentic content and engagement strategies. For SaaS or B2C brands, these apps can act as a springboard for visibility, helping you reach the threshold (e.g., 2.5k or 10k followers) to appear established while you work on building genuine relationships.
