It is true that the more you invest, the greater the results you can achieve - but it also depends on other things (e.g. the quality of the content, the degree to which it interacts with the audience, etc.)...
And... according to a report shared by LinkedIn, social media management is the #1 skill needed in 2024 as a key area across multiple industries and geographical locations. ๐

How much time do you devote to this area/per day? For your personal (or company) profile?

Balancing my day, I dedicate about two hours to social media, ensuring it aligns with my broader marketing strategies. Learning from resources like Nika's Business Marketing study offers invaluable insights to optimize this time.

3-5 hours. It's not continuous; it's spread throughout the day, which isn't ideal, I know. I keep checking notifications and replying to comments. Sometimes, I even check quickly at night.
For me its all depends upon the work load. If i have to calculate how much time i have to spend on study and mobile and side husstel of my lottery work of Nagaland Dear Lottery Result. Then , I thin i have spent almost daily 15 hours.

Does PH count as social media?

@busmark_w_nika OK in that case my answer is correct. Between PH and Twitter, I spend more than 1 hour daily :)
I would say that I spend about 2-3 hours a day on social media (mainly Twitter, PH and Reddit). But itโs particularly difficult since Iโm looking to interact, comment and help people complaining about spam, as it doesnโt happen every day. Besides posting every day on Twitter and PH๐
I spent about a year on LinkedIn building an audience and community, and I found out the hard way that it was the wrong community, as it wasnโt my target audience. So this time, Iโm focusing on the niche, and itโs painfully slow
@busmark_w_nika considering that you have only a handful of videos, the progress is really impressive Nika! I mean it! Thereโs the guy from Film Booth that offers some great info into storytelling and thumbnail, if you want to look into it.
My youtube handle is @iamclaudiu (nothing impressive there๐
), and my blog is https://imclaudiu.com. Just started it for a way to showcase my expertise and portfolio, and to give insights into gmail spam protection. I still have a long way to go
@busmark_w_nika definitely LinkedIn was the easiest.
YouTube is surely one of the hardest things you can do - it takes time, it takes a lot of iterations, and from what I keep seeing, everything starts from the Title and Thumbnail. It feels counterintuitive, but all big creators say the same thing. And then you create the video around those.
I created a few youtube videos and even tiktoks for a while, but itโs not really for me. Iโm much more comfortable writing, which is why I started a blog๐
@busmark_w_nika whatโs the difference between newsletter articles and blog posts?
I didnโt know about Substack - thanks Nika! I think Iโll publish there whenever I have some articles related to my startup๐
@busmark_w_nika I see. Thatโs what Iโm hoping to achieve with my blog ๐ Iโll cover a range of topics there from data protection, data privacy, inbox management, and my journey as I cover a course on machine learning. Weโll see how that goes
@busmark_w_nika yes, thatโs the one๐

@busmark_w_nika this hits home haha. So true :D
Depending on the situation, if I'm fully focused on developing a product, I might not use social media at all.
Thank you Nika for doing these interesting Surveys
@demetre_mildiani1 I second that
I'd say 1-3 hours a day, mostly on PH. I also try to be more active on X, but getting the target audience's attention has been quite a slow process so far ๐

I usually dedicate about two hours daily to social media, ensuring it aligns with my marketing strategies and learning from experts like Nika. It's a balancing act between staying connected and productive.
