Balancing my day, I dedicate about two hours to social media, ensuring it aligns with my broader marketing strategies. Learning from resources like Nika's Business Marketing study offers invaluable insights to optimize this time.

3-5 hours. It's not continuous; it's spread throughout the day, which isn't ideal, I know. I keep checking notifications and replying to comments. Sometimes, I even check quickly at night.

@busmark_w_nika OK in that case my answer is correct. Between PH and Twitter, I spend more than 1 hour daily :)

I would say that I spend about 2-3 hours a day on social media (mainly Twitter, PH and Reddit). But itโ€™s particularly difficult since Iโ€™m looking to interact, comment and help people complaining about spam, as it doesnโ€™t happen every day. Besides posting every day on Twitter and PH๐Ÿ˜€ I spent about a year on LinkedIn building an audience and community, and I found out the hard way that it was the wrong community, as it wasnโ€™t my target audience. So this time, Iโ€™m focusing on the niche, and itโ€™s painfully slow

@busmark_w_nika definitely LinkedIn was the easiest. YouTube is surely one of the hardest things you can do - it takes time, it takes a lot of iterations, and from what I keep seeing, everything starts from the Title and Thumbnail. It feels counterintuitive, but all big creators say the same thing. And then you create the video around those. I created a few youtube videos and even tiktoks for a while, but itโ€™s not really for me. Iโ€™m much more comfortable writing, which is why I started a blog๐Ÿ˜€

@busmark_w_nika considering that you have only a handful of videos, the progress is really impressive Nika! I mean it! Thereโ€™s the guy from Film Booth that offers some great info into storytelling and thumbnail, if you want to look into it. My youtube handle is @iamclaudiu (nothing impressive there๐Ÿ˜…), and my blog is https://imclaudiu.com. Just started it for a way to showcase my expertise and portfolio, and to give insights into gmail spam protection. I still have a long way to go

@busmark_w_nika whatโ€™s the difference between newsletter articles and blog posts? I didnโ€™t know about Substack - thanks Nika! I think Iโ€™ll publish there whenever I have some articles related to my startup๐Ÿ˜€

@busmark_w_nika I see. Thatโ€™s what Iโ€™m hoping to achieve with my blog ๐Ÿ˜€ Iโ€™ll cover a range of topics there from data protection, data privacy, inbox management, and my journey as I cover a course on machine learning. Weโ€™ll see how that goes

If you simply need to engage by commenting and responding to messages or post simple texts, 1 to 2 hours should be enough. However, if you're planning to create all the content for posting yourself, it involves a bigger commitment. Gaining traction is challenging these days, requiring you to be innovative with your content (videos, shorts, cover photos, GIFs, etc - all of which are time-consuming).

Depending on the situation, if I'm fully focused on developing a product, I might not use social media at all.

I'd say 1-3 hours a day, mostly on PH. I also try to be more active on X, but getting the target audience's attention has been quite a slow process so far ๐Ÿ˜…
