How to go out and get users?

Hi all,
I just made my project Shouterra online a fews back. Basically, location based social media platform. (Twitter on a map is a nice way of explaining it)
But I'm struggling to reach people. I'm using facebook ads, some youtubers etc but still, I only got couple of user registrations from external world, all others are my own friends or family.
Any ideas how to go for promoting the project? I really believe in the idea so don't want to give up quickly.
(https://shouterra.com is the address by the way)

We're launching in 8 days so this is top of mind for us. Sharing how we gained the users we have from reputable companies in hopes it gives you inspiration.
- One on One direct Marketing/Cold Outreach - In the early days this is more effective than influencer marketing or even ads imo as you are not reputable. Taking the strategy of a B2B company even though you are a consumer company can lead to traction
- Email Hacking Marketing - Blasting potential users an email campaign once you've collected and verified their email
- Go to where your potential customers hang out and position your product as a solution to their problem/annoyance or the next big thing they need to try
- Own internal organic content posting on TikTok detailng your value props/advantages over the competition

@divine_rivers1 Thank you!
I'm trying one on one but it is hard to find interested people to join as it is a social media platform.
I'm going to use current users emails to send out a mailing but again, so few so I don't know about the possible impact.
I'll try universities around my city, hopefully it will give some traction.
About TikTok, I believe I'm a little bit lost about it, never used it.
@joshua_adatoz I was the same way when it came to TikTok but it's crucial when marketing to consumers. It takes time to learn, but in my eyes, it's a requirement in this day in age to have a social presence on it if not all the major social media platforms since consumers prefer learning about things digitally and visually.
@divine_rivers1 Thank you, really. I'll try to find some details about TikTok ads. Maybe I can create something to use there, who knows, it might help like you said.
There should be a few people that you know that in turn know lots of other people. Try to convince them to promote your product. A few 'shouts' ;) from such people can suddenly give you traction. All the best!
