What are best practices? What things are to be kept in mind to create a great and engaging podcast? Is spotify enough or should I also post the video on YouTube?

Some of the best practices that I have observed are - Define your niche and target audience: Decide what topic your podcast will cover and who your target audience is. - Choose a name and format: Select a catchy name for your podcast and decide what format it will take (interview, solo, co-hosted, etc.). - Equipment: Invest in the necessary equipment such as a good quality microphone, headphones, and a computer or digital recorder. - Record and edit your episodes: Record your podcast episodes, and then edit them to remove any mistakes, background noise, or pauses. - Publish your podcast: Choose a hosting platform to publish your podcasts, such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or Soundcloud. - Promote your podcast: Promote your podcast on social media, through advertising, or by reaching out to potential listeners and collaborators. - Consistency is critical: Publish episodes regularly to build an audience and keep them engaged. - Interact with your audience: Encourage listener interaction through call-ins, Q&A segments, or social media, to build a community around your podcast.

@mubeen This depends on the topic though. But a few that i can think of which might catch the audience's attention are - Smart Boards, Smarter Classrooms - From Blackboards to Smartboards - Tech-nically Education - From Tech-ed in to Ed-tech in India Will add up a few more if I come across any.

@bhaskar_pratim What is a catchy name you would suggest for an EdTech focused podcast?

You should get in touch with @matthieu_perreard - he's the COO of a podcasting platform. He also did a micro-course on our platform as an introduction to podcasting: https://tinyurl.com/adaptiv-podc...

I would suggest you do the following - 1. Use OBS and Zoom 2. Have a good mic and camera 3. Prepare questions beforehand 4. Let the podcast guest(s) know these questions beforehand 5. Use a good editing tool to make it crisp and relevant afterward 6. Post on Spotify and Youtube both 7. Let your audience know you've released one on Twitter, IG, LinkedIn All the best! Looking forward to it.

Are you ready to jump into the podcasting world? It's an exciting venture and one that can be incredibly rewarding! To get going, the first step is to decide exactly what type of podcast you want to create. Are you looking to do a daily news show, a weekly combo of music and interviews, or maybe even a deep dive into pop culture topics? Once you have a theme or concept in mind, the next step is to find your niche audience and start promoting your podcast. You can let potential listeners know about it by spreading the word on social media, reaching out to influencers in your topic area, and setting up webpage with more information about it. Get creative and find ways to get your idea noticed - that's half the fun! When you feel comfortable with everything being set up, then hit record on your very first episode!
