I hate being on the receiving end of outbound marketing, but for some businesses there is not denying that it can be effective. Especially early on. at toddle.dev we pretty much exclusively do inbound. -Twitter - LinkedIn - HackerNews - Reddit - Youtube - Newsletters etc.

Inbound and outbound marketing serve different purposes and can be effective based on the context. Inbound marketing focuses on attracting customers through content and experiences, while outbound marketing involves reaching out to potential customers through traditional advertising and sales tactics. The effectiveness depends on your target audience, industry, and overall marketing strategy.

Depending on the business. Or, to be precise, on purchasing cycle length. If you are selling something of low implementation cost (donuts or TV), I doubt SEO is the way to go. Same goes for banking software. No one is gonna buy it based on FB ad.
