I hate being on the receiving end of outbound marketing, but for some businesses there is not denying that it can be effective. Especially early on. at toddle.dev we pretty much exclusively do inbound. -Twitter - LinkedIn - HackerNews - Reddit - Youtube - Newsletters etc.

Depending on the business. Or, to be precise, on purchasing cycle length. If you are selling something of low implementation cost (donuts or TV), I doubt SEO is the way to go. Same goes for banking software. No one is gonna buy it based on FB ad.
