  • Rebranding and a minor unforeseen issue

Wondering if anyone has rebranded and run into any issues after all the work has been done? We've just rebranded from "Team Tracker" to "Team Today" based on feedback from our users (more about it here: https://medium.com/@robin-TeamToday/why-weve-changed-our-name-to-team-today-db57deb9bee1). Anyway, we've rebranded to Team Today and we've just realized we're competing with 100s of " team today" listings 🤦 I suppose it could be worse... we could have accidently made a crude logo.

Nothing's lost- you just need to push a little more on SEO work, perhaps more than planned. Mix it up with industry-related keywords. There is no doubt that every event such as this is a great lesson for the future. Good luck!

@neri_raanani Thanks, that's our current push but we definitely could do it better.

First of all, props to you for listening to your user's thought. That's actually one of the best marketing strategy you can start with. Just one question, if you're brand name becomes 'Team Today,' how many of them are in your field? This may affect your SEO rankings, or worst, you might run into some kind of copyright issue.

@iyamendoza01 Thanks, I appreciate it. I hadn't thought of that, from what I can tell it's just news sites talking about a sporting team line up "Liverpools team today is..."

@andrew_isherwood1 if it's still the same name, you might run into some issue later on. Just my two cents

Well done. You are climbing the heights of success. 👍 Continuously improvising your product based on feedback is a sure thing to be successful.
