Solving the mess in mind vs on paper

Hey guys i just want to share a little experience.
Whenever i feel information overload or found too much stuff on my mind i just grab a pen and paper and starts writing everything that come in my mind.
After writing everything on paper, i just analyze all the written stuff and tries to cut down unnecessary stuff so only the important one remains left on paper.
This helps me to reduce so much noise of todo things.

Great habit!
I used to do this much more often a few years ago. I would say also to put some visuals into it, as an illustration, or mockups if it's about an app! It will take even more unnecessary stuff that did appear good on paper.
