Video and multimedia can be game-changers for pitch decks, adding a dynamic edge to your presentation. But do these elements genuinely enhance your pitch or are they just flashy distractions?

In my experience, when used right, video and multimedia can take a pitch from good to unforgettable. Some tools even let you embed live demos directly into your slides—so no need to switch between screens! But of course, it’s all about making sure it adds value and doesn't distract. What do you think?

When there are kitties in the videos, then definitely Yay.

Definitely a yay from me! Used sparingly and in the right places, video/multimedia can definitely take a pitch deck to the next level. Tools like mmhmm are great for seamlessly embedding live demos. The key is making sure they truly enhance the message and don't become gimmicky distractions. It's a fine line but when you nail it, it can be super impactful in my experience.
Definitely a big Yay!
Adding video or multimedia to pitch decks can make them more engaging and memorable, helping to tell your story in a dynamic way.
