I see some "Launching Soon" projects with very high engagement, but I can't figure out how they achieve it just by looking at their Product Hunt activity. I'm really curious about how they do it. Can anyone share their insights?

hey @jaredl - to attract attention before your product launch, consider these strategies: 1. Leverage Social Media: Create engaging posts, teasers, and countdowns on platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram to generate buzz. 2. Build a Landing Page: Create a landing page with an email sign-up form to capture potential users and keep them updated about your launch. 3. Engage in Relevant Communities: Actively participate in discussions on Reddit, Indie Hackers, and other relevant forums to share your journey and build interest. 4. Collaborate with Influencers: Partner with influencers in your niche to promote your launch and reach a wider audience. 5. Offer Exclusive Previews: Give early access or exclusive previews to select users or influencers to create anticipation and word-of-mouth promotion. Your promotional copy is compelling, and offering curated content is a great hook. Have you considered creating a short demo or video to further illustrate the value of your tool and attract more attention? @jaredl

Can't share their insights, but here is what I plan to do — reach out to ask potential users to hop on 15m call and roast my landing, giving 3 months sub as thank you — reach out to try the product and give feedback or testimonial (same terms) — announce on Li where I have 2K+ followers and X (only 300)

Maybe my opinion will go against your intuition: pitch to people offline, in person. It's not difficult to pitch to 30 people per day near an office building café. If your target users work there, you just spend one week, and you can get 200 users to spend 5 minutes hearing your idea and trying it out. But if you find them online or buy some ads, they will only give you a quick glance.

I am currently considering trying a method where I create a content hook to guide users to enter Tidyread through Product Hunt on the launch day to receive this content. Has anyone tried something similar? Here’s the promotional copy I plan to use. Do you think it’s attractive? I’d appreciate any feedback 🫡: The market is tough, and many friends want to start their own business but lack differentiated ideas. One solution is to get inspired by other products, like browsing Product Hunt, Indie Hackers, or r/startups. However, visiting these sites daily and reading each post can be inefficient in the AI era. Tidyread offers a curated subscription for product inspiration, with carefully selected sources and filtered content, available for free. Receive daily summaries through a customized prompt. To get it, visit https://www.producthunt.com/prod..., click "notify me," and on July 25th, enter the Tidyread website from Product Hunt to claim it. You’ll receive an email reminder. 🥰 --- @busmark_w_nika @luobaishun @ivan_ilin @hakz

Hey @jaredl! 😄 Great question! One low-cost, high-leverage strategy is to build a pre-launch email list. Engage with your target audience on social media or forums related to your niche and offer them something valuable, like exclusive early access or a helpful resource, in exchange for their email. Also, consider collaborating with influencers or bloggers in your field who can create buzz around your upcoming launch. Best of luck with your product! 🚀
