What do you like most and the least about being an entrepreneur?

The coin has two sides. Another interpretation: we, humans, have various angles of view. šŸ™‚ Many people (founders, entrepreneurs, makers, or marketers) can taste sweeter or bitter activities. What things do you find the most exciting and the least exciting? ---------- šŸ‘ I like the variability of activities I can do and situations I can learn from. šŸ‘Ž I do not like the bureaucracy around that.

Freedom to build your vision! Worst? The constant rollercoaster of highs and lows. Gotta love the hustle:)

@busmark_w_nika Thanks! Yeah, just figured out the emoji thing :D Being in business just feels normal. Haven't got a fancy degree or trade. Still work part-time for stability, and the money I make from business is all in savings, letting it compound. What about you? How'd you get started in business?

What I love the most is the freedomā€”the freedom to be yourself, to set your own schedule, choose where you work from, and pick the people you work with. I love the ability to work on projects that excite me and to focus on areas and things I find personally interesting. What donā€™t I like? The sacrifice of time. Missing out on the little joys of lifeā€”family gatherings, going out with friends (though letā€™s be honest, there's a certain charm in that, despite what the "gurus" say). Itā€™s not that I donā€™t do those things now, but just in smaller doses.

@busmark_w_nika Why? You can focus on products. Not on services

@busmark_w_nika Also, thereā€™s something about the services that complicates the processā€”like when you donā€™t respond to your DMs. P.S. Just kidding! xD

@byalexai The joys are many, but I absolutely agree with "missing out on the little joys of life." Working 24/7, albeit for passion, takes its toll on your life.

šŸ‘ I love the freedom to try new things and develop creative ideas. Every day brings different challenges that make it exciting. šŸ‘Ž But I dislike dealing with uncertainty, especially regarding finances, and the bureaucracy that can be time-consuming.

pretty simple answer : I like : Vacation when you are a success I hate : It take time (But this is how it works and is part of a process)

I think a lot of makers would agree with me that the most exciting and enjoyable times are when planning and especially when building. Ironically, and as critical as it is, I donā€™t like launching! You somehow have to convince yourself that youā€™re done for now, itā€™s good and itā€™s enough, and then try to convince others. I donā€™t like getting in my own way!

@busmark_w_nika 100%. I think you have to be to a certain extent. Almost everything has a solution and the fact that none are perfect - which they canā€™t - is in my mind the reason every maker eventually has the ā€œthere needs to be a better wayā€ thought.

@busmark_w_nika for your mental health, sure, but what drives progress then? On an individual level or globally. I think a mindset of ā€œjust enoughā€ or ā€œit works fineā€ wouldā€™ve never gotten us (as humanity) to where we are. Not everyone has to be mad enough though, just a few šŸ˜‰

The best part about being an entrepreneur is the freedom and excitement of creating something new and the ability to directly impact people's lives. The worst part is probably the stress and uncertainty, and feeling like you can never fully disconnect from work. But overall it's incredibly rewarding!

Most: Creating something valuable that helps people and feeling the satisfaction of building a successful business. Least: The immense responsibility, stress, and uncertainty, especially in the early stages before reaching profitability and stability. It's a roller coaster ride but worth it if you're passionate about what you're building!

The best part is being your own boss and pursuing your passion! But it can be lonely and the uncertainty around money is stressful. I love the freedom and creativity but miss the camaraderie and stability of a regular job sometimes. Finding balance is key!
