I am a podcaster. We (me and my co-hosts) have been podcasting since 2.5 months now and have published 8 episodes. Been wondering what motivates people to consume long-form content?!

The person behind the podcast. If he is a top-notch person I will lesson his podcast. By top-notch I mean to be a name in the field. But if he is just a random guy talking about casual things- skipp. Personality+topic I am curious+ POV = listen

@byalexai Makes sense. What's your style though? Straight on point or a bit casual and rambly?

The stickiest podcasts for me make me feel like I'm in the room hanging with them, part of the conversation almost.

I think that the podcast title is very important that is what is going to make the people click on it to even start reviewing it, this also goes for the thumbnail. Then the information that is being discussed in the podcast how well people are able to relate to it, like the examples that are given by the guest speaker or the hosts how much people are able to relate themselves, that this is something that has happened with them as well so that will keep them hooked, I am also starting on this journey myself and have been researching a lot and this is something that I am able to realise so far, hope this helps and best of luck with your journey.

Hi Harshil, may I know your podcast name? Is it available on Apple Podcast? Podcast is a break from the usual sources of information for me. I would like to know different news, different ideas, various culture, various lifestyle around the world. I listen to different Podcast in different mood states. When I'm sad about a breakup, I listen to podcast related to gender relationships. When I want to make money, I listen to a lot of finance related one. I think blog content needs to be helpful at some point.
