Every company tries to get its visitors to convert as fast as possible by using pop-ups and other tricks that grab the attention. What do you think of the online customer experience nowadays? Are companies trying too hard or doesn't it bother you?

Such a good question. In my experience, if these tactics are overused or used in a way that feels pushy or aggressive, I actually feel distracted from the overall user experience and actual product. There should be a good balance between conversion optimiziation and user experience.
