What does make you stand out from the competition?

If your product doesn't have a competitor:
– either you are a Genius, 🙂
– or probably haven't done proper marketing research (so something is wrong there).
You probably know where I am heading to. 😀
There is little chance that your product is the only one in the world, so I reckon you belong to the second group.
The question is:
– What makes you stand out from the competition (or better: from the best competitor in the market)?
Tell about your product and proposition value. 👇
✅ Name your product and what it does.
✅ Name your biggest competitor.
✅ Your "stand out" thing.
✅ Link to your product.
Keep it in bullet points and short.

@paullouis_valat1 This is interesting – How did you come up with naming? :)
BTW – as a marketer (and this is hella bad trait for me) – I see how some type of push notifications and messages bother me (many people do not like that, I see it around myself and also on myself) – how do you communicate that fact and make it more "convenient" for recipients? I do not know if you know what I mean but it is crucial I think.
Because it is not easy to reach out people especially with lower mood and attitude.
Prelude Verify
@busmark_w_nika As Prelude grows, we are developing new features to help apps enhance their onboarding process. We help them perfect the prelude of their product 🤗
I see exactly what you mean. For our part, we focus on transactional messages, such as user authentication, order confirmation, appointment reminders and so on. So these are messages that are triggered by users, unlike marketing messages, which are triggered by the company and are subject to much more user fatigue if done too frequently.
minimalist phone: creating folders
@paullouis_valat1 Okay, these types of "messaging" are something that people probably expect so it is quite okay :)

@paullouis_valat1 BTW, I hit notify me button already :) wish you GL!

Great questions!
- We have many features and connectors (and they too have connectors that we don't currently support), so depending on what APIs & data you need, you might want to use one or the other
- Databar offers embeddable visualizations for tables (if you need to visualize your data)
- Databar scales really well so you can run many more enrichments much faster
- Our pricing is different and I think more reasonable with a more pay-for-what-you-use approach

Thanks for this thread, Nika! As someone who LOVES competitive research, I ask myself this question all the time. I've got the feeling that many founders don't pay enough attention to alternative solutions that their potential customers have.
Our products don't exist in a vacuum! If your tool isn't good enough, users will find 10 alternatives on Google in the blink of an eye.
✅ Ranking Raccoon, the spam-free link-building platform for genuine SEOs, marketers, and small businesses.
✅ We have several buckets of competitors: established email automation platforms for those who build links 'the old way' (e.g. Respona, Postaga), new players - link-building tools for specific niches (e.g. LinkTopia), and link-building marketplaces where you find paid backlink opportunities (e.g. Linkly).
✅ On Ranking Raccoon, you can build links directly with verified sites - without cold emails, spam, and paid link offers.
✅ https://www.rankingraccoon.com/ - we're working hard to improve the platform, so any feedback is welcome!

@natalia_toth that's pretty reasonable pricing :)
minimalist phone: creating folders
@natalia_toth what is the pricing / monetisation model? Like subscriptions or fee from each link that someone can claim?
@busmark_w_nika we have a flat monthly subscription fee of 25$/user - and you can build unlimited backlinks, which means huge savings compared to the normal practice of buying backlinks (one backlink nowadays costs $100 on average)
Having a laser-focused understanding of your target audience and their needs that your product uniquely addresses better than alternatives. Nailing that product-market fit is 🔑. Also having a stellar team that can execute on the vision and adapt quickly based on user feedback to keep that fit tight as you scale.

When you provide additional value, your product always stands out. It’s a common saying that you must offer a few extra features compared to your competitors—this will help you stand out.
