What to expect of launching on a Friday?

I will launch my next product (Pitchdeck Challenge) on next Friday and I have never launched a product on a Friday but I read a lot about the most competing and active days on PH and Friday seems not to be one of them. What is your experience in Launching on Fridays? And do you have any feedback to my launch? https://www.producthunt.com/products/pitchdeck-challenge

Yes, Friday is a less competitive date, so it is usually easier to get in the top 5. Are you using a hunter for the launch?

We launched our product this Friday and honestly, we got a good response. Maybe it depends on product to product.
Just believe in your product and it will do wonders anyway.

I believe the challenge with a Friday is just fewer people engaged on PH on those days. Hence the pool of people is dramatically smaller and less opportunity for your launch to be seen. In theory it would make sense to use an off day to launch but if your goal is to maximize exposure, then a larger pool of viewers makes more sense.

@sean_jackson5 Thank you for your opinion I think I will try Friday for this launch and then compare it to my other ones (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Best would be to launch on tuesday or wednesday.
I personally launched something on satueday and di not have good response, even though it was on twitter.
