For me, eating outside is a great way to combine a meal with some light exercise, like a walk to a nearby park. It makes the break feel more complete.

During the warmer months, yes! Absolutely a great idea. But these days, up here in Canada, there is barely any sun and it can get well below freezing. A quick walk, however, isn't out of the question.
