BotBus connects local coding agents to your phone. Manage Codex, Claude Code, Hermes, OpenCode, DeepSeek Harness and more across computers. Continue supported tasks, handle approvals, view files and PDFs, and use a terminal. macOS adds screen control and shared web previews. Hosts: macOS, Linux, Windows. Mobile: iPhone, Apple Watch, Android APK. Your computer stays online; capabilities vary by connector.

Quick question for the Claude Code / Codex folks here: when your agent is mid-task and you've stepped away from your desk, what do you actually do? Wait? Come back and scroll?
I built BotBus for exactly that gap. It lives in your macOS menu bar, finds the agents on your machine, and puts their tasks on your phone and Apple Watch — including the moments where the agent stops and asks you for approval, or asks a question you need to answer. Approve a command or reply to the agent from your wrist, no laptop required.
Two things I'd rather be honest about than oversell:
- The computer has to be online for approvals and new tasks (reading synced history doesn't need it).
- Screen control is macOS-only for now, and web previews aren't end-to-end encrypted.
Everything else — chats, commands, images — is AES-256 encrypted on-device; the relay only ever sees ciphertext, and the pairing key never leaves your devices.
If you run local coding agents and you've ever cursed at waiting to get back to a terminal, I'd love to hear: what's the one thing you most wish you could do from your phone?
