I have signed up for flockjay thanks to ProductHunt and had to wait 2 weeks before receiving something, which I can understand. But they never really contact you, or truly confirm anything. You only have a few indications about when and how it should happen.

Another bad thing that happened to me is that, after receiving an invitation, answering to their survey, waiting and waiting, I finally receive an email saying that I got kicked out of the group I was in. And two days later got an email from flockjay saying that I wasn't eligible to be part of it since they can only accept applicants that are eligible to work in the US.

I don't find it really profesionnal and fair to give hope to someone, asking a lot of things from this person and suddenly stoping everything because they can't look at my survey answers.

The team behind Flockjay is stacked with sales expertise. We have worked with Kelly to train our own sales reps and it was the most efficient and rewarding process. I am so excited to see the team at Flockjay scale such an important and valuable service. Can't imagine a more qualified and passionate team going after this problem.

Kelly, Head of Sales at Flockjay, has years of experience growing and leading sales teams and employing a personal, human, and team-oriented approach. She's been a mentor and teacher to me, helping me grow my career from SDR to manager. At Envoy, she helped me build out our outbound sales efforts and trained my team, and we could not have launched that as successfully without her. Anyone who gets to learn from Kelly (and, I'm sure, from the other leaders at Flockjay) is incredibly lucky!

Shaan and team are setting out to make tech accessible in a way it's never been before, through education, without the steep upfront costs that cause traditional barriers to so many. This means people who are feeling stuck, or without hope in their careers and lives have an approachable, new option to change their future that only requires their passion and desire to learn. The concept alone deserves much praise, and the product that follows is going to do great things while making the world a better place. Bravo <3

As a women of color in tech, you often hear the rhetoric that there just aren't enough people of color in the candidate pool... "where do we find them?" FlockJay is solving an important and real problem of limited access to resources in underserved communities. They are demystifying the 'why don't we don't have more representation of other backgrounds in tech' by bringing resources/tools/money into communities.

I love that by having no up front cost, it enables folks for different socioeconomic backgrounds to apply. Sales, like anything else, is a learned skill and it's great to see that this company is not only making space for these voices, but actively supporting people's career growth. Who in turn, can also support their families and communities. It has a ripple effect.

A service like this has been long needed and I'm happy to see that incredible people like this have built a program that uplifts community. Kelly was an incredible mentor to me in my sales career and I'm excited to see the beauty of FlockJay come to fruition to provide a safe space for people to learn and grow their sales skills.
