Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Jamaldeen, and I built Inspekt because I spent way too much time staring at cryptic 403 Forbidden errors and digging through massive JSON blobs trying to find missing security headers. Most debuggers just give you the raw data. Inspekt gives you the answer. By proxying your requests through an AI-powered layer, it identifies security risks, explains server errors in plain English, and suggests the exact fix you need. A few things to try: Security Audit: Send a request to any public API and see which headers are missing. Error Analysis: Purposefully send a malformed request to see how the AI diagnoses the failure. Smart Truncation: Test it with a huge payload; it’ll keep your AI tokens low while keeping the data intact for you. It’s currently free to use on the hosted version, or you can clone the repo and self-host it with your own OpenRouter key. Does it work retrospectively on existing APIs are only new ones?

@anusuya_bhuyan Yes it works on any existing API there’s no setup or integration required on the API’s side. Inspekt just proxies the request and analyzes whatever response comes back, so it works retrospectively on APIs you’re already using, third party APIs, internal APIs, anything with an HTTP endpoint. Just point it at any URL you want to inspect
