Pixelfy

Curently testing this tool and getting some dope pixel arts! Exactly the right tool for generating pixelated content, expecially for low resolution pixel displays.

Makes it look like a free open source project with no mention of pricing visible until after you log in and then suddenly it's all credits based. Even a google search of "pixelfy pricing" and similar shows no up-front pricing information. Combine this with the referral/affiliate based credit system and it's hard to not see this as intentionally deceptive and manipulative rather than just coincidence.

Bills itself as a freemium platform, with basic functionalities for free users, and improved benefits for those who pay, yet if you give them your email and log in, you quickly learn that you can't do anything without credits, which you must either purchase or earn by referring other people. I'm not opposed to paying for services, but Pixelfy clearly is trying to lure users in with the promise of a free trial, only to wall everything off. Additionally, the new email "login" button redirects through PostMark.it, an analytics and tracking site, without so much as a by-your-leave for the user, not great for those interested in digital security and protecting their private data. All-in-all seems like a pretty scummy platform, do not recommend.

Asked me for e-mail just to find out that theres no trial. Why would I pay for credits if I can't even tell the quality of the "AI." Seems like you're just e-mail farming. Could be the best "AI art generator" on the web and people would still never give a try. Brainless.
