totally agree with your take on cautious launches. it feels like the days of “launch anything and see what sticks” are finally disappearing. people are starting to realize that being featured is about making something people actually care about.
i'd add to the list these
→ micro-communities. instead of big, general directories, we’ll see niche groups forming around specific types of products...

what’s something that could instantly make you say ‘this is a bad idea'?
hey ph crew 🙌🏻 I’m working on an idea that I think solves a specific pain point.
→ what’s one early red flag that told you your idea wasn’t solving the problem you thought it would?
→ any quick tests or methods you’ve used to validate a hypothesis before going all in?
appreciate any experiences or cautionary tales here. would love to avoid building something that only i want!

→ instant momentum when we go live.
→ a direct line to the people who actually...

there are too many options: substack, mailchimp, convertkit, beehiiv, etc. and it’s a bit overwhelming.
here’s what i’m...

what would you say are the main items of 'build in public'? i'm working on launching a product and want to use build in public as the main marketing drive.
